Old photos

This is me on my way home from school in Middleton. We lived there for four months last year.
Oliver was too young to go school. You can see my school just above my head, at the end of the road.

Playing conkers

On Sunday we played conkers. We played in the greenhouse because it was windy and rainy outside.

First we made a hole in the conkers. Then we put a string in. Oliver held up his conker and I hit it with my conker.

I won and my conker was a 3-er.

Me and Oliver eating ... not sure ... kind of strips of carpet made out of the bits of fish that nobody would otherwise eat. Daddy's not keen on them, but we love them!

Here's another photo that's so similar, I struggle to think of something interesting to say about it:

Rowan's photos from Cheltenham 2007

Rowan gave Daddy some photos of me when I was playing with him in Cheltenham when I was there in 2007. We played on the slide and swings at a play area in the park, and I liked 'fishing' for coins in the fountain in the town centre!

Enjoy.

Oliver and me March 2009

Here's a photo of me and didi (that's younger brother in Chinese) looking quite respectable. We don't, usually. Oliver is being a bit naughty since he has learned to walk, and so I have to say "Didi da wo!" (younger brother hit me) a lot to Mummy and Daddy, who don't respond nearly quickly nor nearly violently enough, in my opinion.

I'm sorry Daddy has been so slow to update my blog, and there are so few pictures over the last year. When he gets back from the UK I shall give him a stern talking to. I just can't get the staff.

An update from far away

Daddy is in the UK at the moment, being asked why he hasn't updated my blog and why he isn't carrying any photographs to show relatives. In desperation he has had to upgrade his phone, and ask mummy to switch his laptop on here so he can get some photos. Uncle Mike (Mary's Mike) said "Cor that's good!" when he saw Daddy do it from Mike's PC in Lancaster, but I think it would have been more impressive if Daddy had been organised enough to take some photos with him. It would have been so simple - but Daddy invariably has to turn every simple task into an opportunity to build a Space Station.

Here's a photo of Oliver - someone asked if he had curly hair. He has one curly hair, I think. You can see it in this photo. I'm wondering when Daddy will set up a separate blog for Oliver. No doubt he'll turn that simple task into something epic too.

That's it for another update

I'm sorry daddy is so slow with these things. I'm sure as soon as I really understand how slowly he updates my blog, I'll light a fire under him and see if I can improve his work rate. Daddy's excuse about Oliver keeping him awake and disturbing him all the time is starting to wear a bit thin. Oliver only sleeps once or twice during the day now and only wakes up briefly once at night. He's started eating a lot more. Daddy says he eats nearly as much as I do (his bottles are the same size), and he eats very fast. I like to enjoy dinner times, the longer the better. Anyway, daddy had better finish up and go to bed now before he starts rambling.

See you next time!
