Kindergarten kit!

Here's my new school dress. I haven't actually worn it to kindergarten yet, but will by the end of the week. It's emblazoned with the 3Q logo. My school is part of the 3Q network. I'm not sure what the school website is about. Daddy isn't sure either, and I think he said "word salad".

What I do know is that I'm enjoying it more every day. At the moment I'm down to just a few tears as daddy lets go of my hand in the morning. They soon stop when I start playing with my new friends!

Cousin Hong lee

Has started a blog. Happy blogging, Hong lee!

Gong gong's funeral

It has been a sad few days. My gong gong (Mummy's father, actually my wai gong, but I've only got one Chinese grandfather, and gong-gong's easier to say) died on Thursday morning. I liked to visit him in the evenings, when he was taking care of his garden. He always picked me up and took me on a tour of the garden! Gong gong liked to throw parties too, we've been to several in the short time we've been living next door. Here's a picture of gong gong from his 70th birthday party, last month.

Gong gong's coffin has been in his living room for a couple of days. All his relatives, friends and colleagues have come to say goodbye.

Gong gong was an active member of a local church, so there were services outside at night.

And people came from all over to see him, and stay a while in his garden.

A lot of people wore white, to show they were in mourning.

He was buried today, at the Nilai Memorial Park.

Brewed in Malaysia

I love beer, me. Daddy says it's empty, but it's all about accessories to complement my image, not the taste. Silly daddy!

Who's this?

So that's why mummy was feeling sick...

She's pregnant! ETA sometime around mid-March 2008. A picture of the scan as soon as I take a good one. There's not much to see, the doctor says it's 0.86cm long, about 6 weeks old.

Daddy finally got a decent picture of the scan. This is my new sibling, at 6 weeks 6 days, apparently. Only 8.6mm long, and not nearly as photogenic as me.
